Gonzales woman dies in collision

A 19-year-old Gonzales woman was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday morning when her vehicle collided with a gravel truck on Highway 90A between Gonzales and Belmont.

Department of Public Safety reports indicated Domingo Anibal Toledo was driving a 2001 Kenworth gravel trailer eastbound near Mile Marker 578 when he crested a hill and saw a westbound vehicle in his path, colliding with a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Kendra Renae Hurley. Hurley was pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Darrell Becker.
