HURLEY
Kendra Renae Hurley, 19, of Gonzales, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in Gonzales. She was born March 8, 1991, in San Antonio, TX, to David and Diane Landry Hurley. She was a graduate of the Gonzales High School Class of 2009.
Kendra was very active in 4-H and was attending the Seguin Beauty School in Seguin, to become a licensed beautician and cosmetologist. Her plans were to continue her education at Victoria College in the upcoming fall semester. Her passion in life was spending time around her family and friends, especially when she was able to pull pranks and jokes on them. She loved spending time on the computer updating her Facebook, fishing, camping and spending time with her little dog, “Precious”. She was a loving and wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary Hurley; and aunt, Debbie Hurley. She is survived by her parents, David and Diane Hurley of Gonzales; brother, Garrett Hurley of Gonzales; maternal grandparents, Donna and Earl Landry, Sr. of Waelder; great grandmother, Emily Landry of San Antonio; aunt, Teresa Hurley of San Antonio; uncles, Bill Hurley of Cypress, TX, Kenny Hurley and wife Darla of La Vernia, Ronnie Hurley of La Vernia, and Earl Landry, Jr. and wife Kim of Waelder; and numerous other family, extended family and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:30 PM Friday, July 30, 2010, at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Kendra Hurley Memorial Fund at Lone Star Bank in Gonzales.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, 906 St. Paul, Gonzales, TX, 78629  (830)672-3232.
